Bounce Rate, is a Google Analytics term which shows you the metrics about your visitors, if someone visited your Website through any of the visits (Direct, Organic or In-Organic) and left out without visiting other pages of your Website, then your bounce rate goes high

To reduce the bounce rate, need to optimize your Website Architecture to attract your visitors with its navigation, design, layout, theme, content so they like to visit the sub-pages for more details on your pages. Reducing the bounce rate means more engaged audiences and thus greater chance of conversions.

Bounce rate should be low for any website, as bounce rate is related to no. of visitors which come to your website to visit your site, but they don't put any comment or likes , in short visitor does not do any activity,they just come and go.
