Choose right WordPress theme can help your blog rank high consistently in SERPs?

Hello

There are more wordpress themes out there (include free and premium themes) but I think if I choose right WordPress theme then it can help my blog rank higher consistently in SERPs, is it true?

what do you think? which factors should I consider to choose a good wordpress theme for better SEO and better rankings in SERPs?

Any suggestions?

do understand that SERP is independent of design and software, all pages pass through algorithmic calculation and a relevancy score decides rank, Not what software or design you have used.
