In my experience, Google love to index your site page if the content is new and regularly updated as well as shared by other network. I think this is the best way to index your page faster.

- Wrong in your robot file so make Google bot couldn't access any your webpages
- Website with no updates (content, information..)
- Duplicated content on more pages on your site. (Google hates this and will decrease number of indexed pages)
- More spammy pages
