I am having a site around 1500 visitors a day (see it from google analytics) and I'm facing with any problems (hosting, generate revenue..) and difficulties on managing it. Honestly, my site has increased from 400 visitors/day to 1500 recent days.
I have some questions
1. How can I solve problem about hosting like my site was overload anytime when its traffic increased suddenly?
2. How to make money from its traffic? I should go with google adsense or advertising..etc?
3. Which things/plans need to consider if my site increases to 30K visitors a day? dozen of problems I can get if it will..

Thanks

Kal

First thing you need to do is move your site from shared hosting to a better package. Contact your hosting company for that and tell them your situation they'll give you their best options.

Monetizing your site really depends on your market so the best thing you can do is to test everything yourself till you find what works. But I would start by building an email list.

Just try different monetization strategies and see which one works best for your website and market.

@Nytshade has it right with building a list.

What do you do then to build a list? Well as I am venturing more into affiliate marketing (it's what I've always wanted to do, I hate Local SEO) building a list is obviously the biggest challenge. I am buying bing coupons and will be launching my first PPC>Landing Page> Autoresponders>CB product campaign.

You should have it easy if you are receiving that many visits a day. Just find an affiliate product on clickbank and in the marketplace, you will notice some vendors have "Vendor Spotlight" below the promote button. Those are your more serious and advanced vendors who have affiliate materials. Use the affiliate materials they provide as an incentive to join your list.

It's really that easy.

Once building your list, do not just shove product in their face. Some may do it different but, I would say 1 in 5 or 1 in 4 email blasts can include a product. The rest of the emails should be newsletters with helpful content that make the reader subconsciously want your product you plan to pitch next.

Once you build a list, methods of monetization are endless if you build trust with your list.

Hi Kal,

Great to hear that you're getting more traffic to your website... Its a good problem to have ;-) Some great responses above and in addition:

1. How can I solve problem about hosting like my site was overload anytime when its traffic increased suddenly?
> I would first of all look into improving your website performance e.g. move images to a sub domain, minify javascript files, compression etc as well as use of a CDN (content delivery network) - which can increase performance such as [URLnf="https://www.cloudflare.com/"]Cloudlfare [/URLnf]whom offer a free level account. Also check out [URLnf="https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/"]Google PageSpeed[/URLnf] - as that offers some great tips on where to improve your website.

> In addition I would contact your webhost... They can increase PHP memory allocation etc... You should also check out upgrading packages as well as considering moving to another webhost - perhaps even VPS etc.

2. How to make money from its traffic? I should go with google adsense or advertising..etc?
> In my opinion go for a combined approach... Get Adsense first if you dont have an account, then add affiliate products which you can promote as well as perhaps even developing your own products... The above advice to build your list is also hugely important! Give them a bonus incentive to sign up to your list, develop a relationship and overtime promote stuff...

3. Which things/plans need to consider if my site increases to 30K visitors a day? dozen of problems I can get if it will..
> That would be awesome to reach that! I would consider dedicated hosting... Costs a lot more... But before that I would try website improve performance as well as asking web host to help as per allocations, quota's which may restrict current performance e.g. bandwidth, memory etc... as per above point 1.

Keep us posted as to how you get on! .... and good luck with reaching the 30K milestone!

Cheers,

Sid
