Domain Age is an important factor of SEO, Old Domains assures quality content for the search engines thus older domains costs higher then any new domain. Search Engines trust old Domains and they may have Google PageRank and few backlinks too.

Search engines view older domains as more trustworthy, which means older domains may have a slight advantage. But this is only true if the older domain has a good reputation (e.g., it hasnt been blacklisted, penalized or banned from the search engines).you can find domain age by using domain whois lookup tool.Nowadays there are lot of whois lookup tools available for free.I found this site Whoisxy.com through Google search.Here i got accurate results.

Older domains are ranked well in Google, If you use any keywords to rank in Google, then you will succeed and you will get a good pagerank and keyword ranking.

I have 10 years old domain, but I didn't get ranking, it is just one point in several other points of Google algorithm.
