99k Pages Generated on my Website

We recently changed the theme on our eCommerce site, and it ended up generating over 99,000 URLs with parameters like view=list&add-to-cart=3344 and ?view=list&orderby=price&stock_status=instock.

I'm considering redirecting all of these URLs to the homepage and then submitting a removal request to clean them up.

Does that sound like a good approach?
