Hi webmasters,
would you pls explain for me what is the difference between indexed and crawling?
It seems to be familiar with people doing SEO but I'm not quite obvious about the deference between them

Hello @oponno, I would say that both quite different from each other. The term Crawling is referred to the steps being undertaken by any search engine bots which includes to visit, scan and finally enlist to the related search engine.

The term Indexed is referred as the webpage, which is already found and scanned by the given search engine (Google OR Yahoo OR Bing) and it is listed in it. So, when anybody searches on the search engine with a keyword relevant to the webpage, the webpage URL with its details (title and snippets) will show up.

I hope that helps.
