To accelerate the growth of your list, there are two alternatives:

* Increase traffic volume.
* Increase conversion rate.

Most bloggers make the mistake of focusing only on the first alternative.
Increase the volume of traffic is something every blogger looks and works every day to get it.
However, completely neglecting the conversions of your blog is a mistake you can not afford.
Note that to double the growth rate of your subscriber list or you double the volume of traffic it receives your blog (keeping the conversion rate) or you doubled the conversion rate (keeping the volume of traffic).
As you know if you already have your own blog, duplicate traffic is complicated and requires a lot of time and work.
However, making a number of changes and applying some techniques you can easily optimize your blog and duplicate conversions.
What I mean by that is you can not forget to optimize your blog to improve conversions, because with relatively little work that will be able to get very good results.

By the way, I would like to know you are using what methods to grow your email list?
All your comments are appreciated.

For me my main method is to use Ads such as on FB or on websites which has lots of great targeted traffic as well as increasing traffic to my website through use of SEO... In other words I adopt use of ads when starting out as that provides instant traffic and for the long haul I aim to get traffic through SEO. You should also consider other channels such as social networks, video marketing for traffic sources...
