SEO is Stable or Unstable ?

Hi there,

SEO is process that combines more techniques to promote and get free traffic from search engines for your website. But problem here it is stable or unstable even you got highest ranking on search engines like Google, Bing,..but suddenly you lose traffic in day that search engines update their new algorithms.

So..what do you think, SEO is stable or unstable ?

SEO is stable but its results are not. And its not the fault of SEO, its because Google is making its search engine more and more powerful with the updates, so every time when it updates a new algorithm, for a instance a ranking falls, but later after understanding for what it was, you can recover with the help of SEO only.

I also agree with the Joseph that SEO is the stable part of the digital marketing, but the seo results are unstable, they constantly changes and give up and down results.

I really agree with you friend, that Google is making difficult to do SEO day by day. And now it has made its is algorithm so strong that few low quality links can drop your ranking.

All that algorithm changes, social signals changing, and many other things around, make it very difficult for home-based SEO techniques working properly.
You are not going to win with big companies, spending thousands for dedicated teams that support big websites, day and night.
Relax, and do not rely on one source of traffic.

I can define SEO as a stable process from the above posts, but the algorithms which deals with the website’s ranking process, is not that stable. As it is controlled by Google, therefore; the algorithm changes on a regular basis.

Totally agree with you Sharry. Actually people lose their patience while doing seo for their website. As it is not possible to get the instant result in this method. And there they create backlinks looking unnatural and against the privacy policy of Google, after that they get the good result for a while and when Google come to know about those links their ranking gets fall and they say that SEO is unstable.

Based on the above posts, SEO can be termed as a stable process. But, the algorithms that control its ranking are not stable. Google keeps on changing the algorithm on a regular basis.

SEO is definitely unstable process, but for many of sites it is stable. Its stability depends on different factors like domain age, visibility, page rank.
